Open play (for anyone) is held
on the following days/times weekly:

8am on Mon, Thu & Sat.
2pm on Tue
6pm on Tue (advanced only)
6pm on Wed

Group lessons are offered for beginners & intermediate players; in the evenings, as posted on this site by instructor Kelly Anne Herr . Loaner paddles are available for no extra charge.

Leagues are offered during the evenings, with periodic sign-up posted on this site. Play is typically the same day of the week for 6 weeks and includes 3 levels: Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced.

Tournaments & Socials are offered, typically on the weekends, and posted on this site when available.

The location for most of the above is the Beaumont Municipal Tennis Center (409-866-2833), which has 4 covered courts and 8 outdoor courts. A nominal court fee of $2-5 is typically charged and paid at the entrance. Group lessons are typically $10 and paid directly to Kelly. You can reserve a court for personal/private use; subject to availability.

Additional courts available for free use in city parks include Rogers Park in Beaumont, Lumberton City Park, Knupple Park in Silsbee, Orange Recreation Center, and Dornboss Park in Nederland. A new addition in 2024 will be the City Park in Port Neches. Members have access to courts at the Wellness Center and YMCA in Port Arthur, and Lamar University provides facilities for its students. Several local churches also offer courts, such as Calvary and Westgate in Beaumont, First Baptist in Nederland and Port Neches, Holy Cross, Wesley, and Apostolic all in Nederland, Parkway in Lumberton, and Bridgepoint in Bridge City.
